Legacy Sailing Videos

This was our original YouTube channel—the first miles under the keel, the first lessons learned the hard way, the first glimpses of what this life might become. It’s a little rough around the edges (and yes, a bit uncomfortable for us to watch at times), but it’s real. And in many ways, it matters more because of that.

If you’ve ever wondered how this journey started—or you’re curious to see Garuda I in her earlier days—you’ll find it all here. Every misstep, every small win, every moment that quietly pointed us… just a bit further.

These episodes were filmed between 2022 and 2023, during our first attempt at building a life afloat. Looking back, what stands out isn’t the quality of the footage—it’s the willingness to begin before we felt ready. These videos remind me that progress rarely looks impressive in the moment. It just looks like showing up.

For where the journey is now—aboard Garuda II—you can follow along on the current channel.
